The Midsouth Masters / NOLA Lending Racing Team completed the
2011 training camp on February 5-6 in Vicksburg, MS. The camp serves as a
chance to jump start training for some as well as show form for others who will
be looking for results in the early season races which start later this month
with the TCC Time Trial in Monroe. The Civil War park in Vicksburg is
always a challenging course. This year early morning ice made the turns
even more tricky and delayed the ride until early Saturday afternoon. The
ride Sunday on the Natchez Trace provided more opportunity to work on team
drills. The camp also was the first chance many of us had to personally
welcome our newest member, Jed Darby, to the team. |
